Numbers, punctuation and special characters (like emojis) don't have equivalents in most Unicode blocks and are therefore kept as-is. The conversion mainly applies to letters (A-Z, a-z).

Using Unicode fonts has no negative effect on the Instagram algorithm. However, excessive use can reduce readability. We recommend using them selectively for headings or individual words.
