    Analytics metrics

Every figure of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube by section: what it means and how it comes about

Which figures an account has depends on its platform; ContentMate shows only what the platform delivers. Names appear here as on the page, with a platform's own name in brackets. The figures of the Revenue section are explained in YouTube analytics.

    How the values come about

    • Daily values: Instagram, Facebook and YouTube report many values per day. For a period, ContentMate adds up the days.
    • Levels: Followers, "Following", "Total posts" and "Total likes" are counters. The card shows the level at the end of the period and the change during it.
    • Values from posts: Some values are reported only per post, as a lifetime total since publication; on TikTok all of them. For a period, ContentMate counts how much these totals of all posts grew. That works only from the first import on; earlier periods carry the note "Tracked only since the first import".
    • Unique people: Reach and accounts engaged count each person once and cannot be added up over days. Instagram delivers an exact value for 7, 14 and 30 days (90 as well with Instagram login), Facebook for 7 and 28 days. For other periods the card shows the average of the daily values and says so.

Each card names its timeframe; the audience is read once a day.
