The Profile page is your personal account hub in Content Mate. Here you manage your name and email, view your subscription and usage, change your password, customize the application theme color, set your preferred language, and configure notification preferences. All changes on this page affect your personal account across all workspaces.
Accessing the Profile Page
Click on your profile icon or name in the navigation to open the Profile & Settings page. The page is organized in a clean two-column layout: the left column contains the section title, description, and sometimes a summary badge, while the right column holds the interactive card with form fields and controls.
Personal Data
The Personal Data section lets you manage your basic profile information. It is marked with a user icon and contains:
First Name
An editable text field for your first name. Enter or update your first name and click Save to apply changes. The name is displayed in the sidebar, workspace member lists, and other places throughout the application.
Last Name
An editable text field for your last name. Works the same way as the first name field. Together with the first name, it forms your display name.
A read-only field showing your registered email address. The email cannot be changed from this page for security reasons. It appears with a gray background to indicate it is not editable.
Saving Changes
Click the Save button at the bottom of the form to persist your name changes. A success notification confirms the update. The save button is disabled if both name fields are empty.
Subscription Overview
The Subscription section shows your current plan and resource usage. It is marked with a crown icon. Your current tier is displayed as a colored badge in the left column (Free, Standard, Advanced, or Agency).
Usage Bars
The subscription card displays several usage bars, each showing your current consumption against the plan limit:
| Metric | Icon | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Workspaces | Layers | Number of workspaces you own vs. your tier's limit |
| Instagram Accounts | Number of connected Instagram accounts vs. limit | |
| Facebook Accounts | Number of connected Facebook accounts vs. limit | |
| Storage | Hard Drive | Storage space used vs. your tier's storage quota |
Each bar shows:
- The metric name and icon on the left
- The current value and limit on the right (e.g., "2 / 5")
- A progress bar showing the fill level
- Red highlight when you reach or exceed the limit
For unlimited tiers, an amber gradient bar is shown instead of a standard progress bar, and the limit displays as the infinity symbol.
Change Plan
If you have an active subscription (Standard or higher), a Change Plan button appears. Clicking it opens a dialog where you can upgrade or downgrade your plan. The change is processed through Stripe and takes effect based on prorated billing.
Manage Subscription
The Manage Subscription button opens the Stripe Customer Portal in a new window. From there you can:
- View your billing history
- Update your payment method
- Download invoices
- Cancel your subscription
This button is only shown if you have an active paid subscription.
Upgrade
If you are on a tier below Agency, an Upgrade section appears with a link to the Pricing & Subscription page where you can compare plans and upgrade.
Agency Message
If you are on the Agency tier, a special amber banner confirms your enterprise status with a building icon.
Password Change
The Password section lets you change your account password. It is marked with a lock icon.
Form Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Current Password | Enter your existing password for verification |
| New Password | Enter your desired new password |
| Confirm New Password | Re-enter the new password to prevent typos |
Password Requirements
When you start typing a new password, a policy checklist appears showing five requirements:

| Lowercase letter | At least one lowercase letter (a-z) |

Each requirement shows a colored dot indicator:

- Gray dot -- Requirement not yet met
Password Mismatch Warning
If the new password and confirm password fields do not match, the confirm field is highlighted with a red border and a mismatch warning appears below it.
Submitting the Change
The Change Password button is only enabled when:
- The current password field is filled
- All five password requirements are met
- The new password and confirm password match
After a successful change, all three fields are cleared and a success notification appears.

The Theme Color section lets you personalize the accent color used throughout the application. It is marked with a palette icon. The selected color affects buttons, links, badges, and other accent elements across all pages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my email address?
The email field on the profile page is read-only. To change your registered email address, please contact support.
What happens if I forget my current password?
The password change form requires your current password for security verification. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it via email.
Does the theme color affect other users?
No. The theme color is a personal preference stored in your account. Each user can choose their own color independently. It does not affect how other team members see the application.
Can I set a different language for each workspace?
No. The language setting is global for your account and applies to all workspaces. There is no per-workspace language setting.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Click Manage Subscription in the Subscription section. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel your subscription. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
